im from fairfax county. used to have poultry but handed them over to a maryland farm because of the law here.

I live in Greene county. We're just starting on our first coop now; actually, we're converting the old playground tower at my dad's house. :p I want to start with some Coppered Black Marans, he wants some RI Reds. Guess we'll see what we can get our hands on.

(I've seen Coppered Black, Copper Black, and Black Copper. Which one is actually right?)

That would mean I'm smack-dab in the middle of all of them. :p I'm in Wildwood Valley, which is right between GML and Twin Lakes.

its very addictive...just like chixns...lol

I'd definitely be interested in those RIRs; I only need one, but I'm pretty sure I can unload the other on a friend who is about to buy 5 10-week old pullets. As I mentioned, though, our coop is still in the beginning stages. I probably won't be ready for any birds for a little while. So if you need to get rid of them soon, it won't hurt my feelings if you find another buyer.

bishopschickens: I was actually looking at your site earlier and was thinking of getting a few chicks from you once I have some older birds going. You will definitely be hearing from me in the future.
