There's eden farm not far on 64 east .New Hampshires and buff orps are very good layers
I raise silkies and polish ,then I have my egg layers so the family has fresh eggs to eat.I may hatch out some BLRW later this spring but they are not the greatest egg layer. They are more for beauty.

Hello! I have a friend in Nelson county who is looking for a handful of pretty, varied POL pullets or young laying hens. She wants to buy from a nice hobby farm that she can trust will have disease-free stock.

Any recommendations within, say, half and hour of Nelson?

Thanks!
