Visible predators?

I am planning to move my ducks to a new coop. The coop is a renovated to be predator proof children’s playhouse. So there are many windows- all covered, nothing can get in. My question is- you can still see in and out of these windows since it is stapled wire fencing... will it be traumatic to the ducks should a raccoon or something be up at the window looking in/trying to get in for any period of time throughout the night?? Should I actually solidly cover the windows more??

I have the solar lights and also predator lights that flash red. I also have a lot of windows in my coops for ventilation. and have hardware cloth over all of them. If anything has come around and looked in the windows I think I would have heard the quacking if they were upset because my coops are right at my home. They probably just stand up and stick their tongues out at anything that would look in. lol

Ventilation is not a concern. There is plenty of ventilation and the wiring over the windows is plenty secure. All I am worried about is traumatic exposure to predators.

So we think maybe adding a motion light and other than that the visibility shouldn’t be an issue??

We’ve had all manner of predators here even caught a pic of an owl on the ramp going up to the coop opossum raccoon no telling what else that can climb over fencing never had a problem with my birds being terrorized. As long as they are inside and behind hardware cloth they are safe and I think they know it.

My ducks are close to my house like you said yours are so not as many predators come up here. I think I will just stick with the hardware cloth for now and monitor behavior and edit as needed. Thank you!
