Visiting Mallard hen

Seems to enjoy taking flights around the house, lol

I need to figure out a way to get some food into her without the chickens eating it all!

They won't let her eat with them? how many feeders do you have out? if only one maybe add another.

Millie is adorable. Is she sleeping inside at night with the chickens?

My father in law was from Big Sandy Texas.

No, they don't let her eat with them. I have 2 feeders and 11 chickens. She's kinda outnumbered. But they don't attack and when they go away, she sneaks in and gets a little bit.

I did see one hen and one cockerel chase her and she flew away, then came back. She is keeping a respectful distance right now. I think they will accept her eventually. It just takes some time. I couldn't tell where she slept, but we have a few spots around the main coop that would work and I'm sure she is bedding down on those.

That duck is adorable!! Just want to bring to the forefront of your mind that this is a bio security nightmare. If you feed it and get it to stick around maybe a trip to the vet might be in order?
