This fella came to visit today. I put some food out for him as he seemed hungry. My boys are so curious and pacing their pen. I was just wondering if what others thought of him. His neck seems a bit crooked although it may be normal. I only have my 2 yr. olds to judge by. He's beautiful, but thinner than my boys. His tail is gorgeous and in good condition.

What people here have said is that the neck thing is something that happens to the males during breeding season.

Oh, thank you. Mine aren't of age yet so I've never seen that. He's a pretty boy. I'm surprised he came here since I don't have females, but I'm enjoying watching him.

He is a beauty.
It is true what others said about his neck, when my male did this he acted like he was morphing into something else , seemed like it hurt him and he was not the same pea I have known for almost 3 years, it was a sad time for me but he is getting back to normal now.

Looks like something plucked his crest, perhaps he was turned loose so others would not pick on him.

Yes, he is pretty. I'm going to have to go down the road and tell his owners where he is I guess. They have six or eight peas I think that free range. This is the first time one has come to visit. I noticed his crest too. Your's is a beautiful boy! I'm glad your's is getting back to normal behavior now. I guess I have that to look forward to next year when my boys turn three.
