Visiting snow

We live in N FL and would like to take a short trip to see some snow. Who is the furthest S that is supposed to have snow that sticks?

Try the "mountains" of north Georgia and Alabama.
I grew up in DeKalb Co. Alabama on top of Sand Mt. we got snow every year. Lookout Mt got snow as well. I don't know what they have now... As I remember we usually got it late Jan early FEB.
