I brought home, 3 bannie hens, and addend them to my senior lot, that had to full size hens, and one senior bannie rooster,
I seen that the Bannie hen were droopy, so i added the vitamans with electrolyes, and now my full size hens are having, garggling sounds and having trouble breathing, As i seen this yeasterday, I Changed back to regular water, Is there anything i can do now??
TO get my Big hens better again????

can antibitocs, work in this case, and also, the 3 new bannies did NOT show any signs of illness, casue the Bannie Rooster is Fine, and Happy, it is just the full size Hens that are Having the Problem!..

Do you Think Antibiotics will work?

And Thank you!

Separate the Bantam hens from the others to a clean, comfortable area with food and water. Buy some Tylan or L-S 50 soluble powder. Measure 1 tsp of either one you decide on, and mix it with 1 gallon of water. Make a fresh solution each morning for them to drink for 7 days. Always follow up with vitamins-electrolytes and probiotics in water after a course of medicinal treatment. If it is bacterial, or just a weakened immune system from stress, they may recover. If symptoms persist and it is viral, you will have to cull the affected birds. Quarantine for at least 30 days, and knowledge of diseases within the links Judy provided can help you prevent this problem from reoccurring in the future. Never putting new birds with an old flock is the best practice.
