is it ok to add electrolites or baby vit. to the water of quail. or is this pointless?

In the summer I use electrolytes to keep my birds hydrated. Sometimes it will help chicks too. For their first day in the brooder they get electrolyte supplement in their waterers. I also give birds that are hurt nutri-drench. It is supposed to releive stress and pain. I always send some with chicks or adults when I ship.

It Does No Harm And May Certainly Help. During Extreme Heat All The Girls Here Get Vit C Added To Water 3x's A Week. It Helps Bolster Laying Rates During Times Of Heat Stress

Just make sure when you deploy those expensive vitamin supplements, that they don't freeze into an expensive watercicle .
What a total nut job I have become.

Aloha,

I have added vitamin supplements/electrolytes during the summer time and for chicks as needed. Sometimes that little boost will mean the better for the flock or upcoming flock. I say go for it!
Mahalo.....
