I have a 5week old chick who was hatched from my flock in my incubator. About a week and a half ago he began fumbling and bumbling around, trembling, uncontrollably. He never stops unless he’s resting. My first thought was Marek’s but he has been in my garage in my brooder until I put them out in their own run this week. He is the runt of the group of four. He is alert and very active, just clumsy. I’ve been giving vitamin supplements in water for about a week. Does this seem like a vitamin deficiency?

Is he too cold? What is the temperature there? They usually need a heat source until they are fully feathered unless temps are 75-80 degrees. I would try to get him warm and feed him some warm fluids with electrolytes and vitamins. If you have a video that you could upload to YouTube with a link here that might help.

You can add selenium to the vitamins. It helps with some neurological conditions.
