I have an ISA Brown who walks backwards quite a bit, she eats, drinks, and all normal chicken stuff, but I’ve read that could be a sign of Vitamin E/Selenium deficiency? I also read to feed her tuna and eggs? Which may be best treatment (if any) these foods or vitamin supplements? She pulls her head in when she walks backwards (like a ducking motion) also….

No, I haven’t really treated for anything yet….. we put vitamins (hydro-hen) in the water…. So I wasn’t sure if I should try tuna and eggs, or just give her some supplements….?

I don't think my question was clear...you think she may have wry neck, right? 🙂

Sure, eggs would be a good choice for nutritional support. I'm leery of the tuna, though, because of the mercury content, so I'd personally stick with formulated supplements, instead.

I don’t believe it is wry neck….. she simply walks backwards sometimes…. No staring off or crookedness to her neck or anything like that. We’ve started calling her beep beep because she backs up all the time! She eats and drinks OK and walks around with the other chickens, it’s just the backwards walking that is very odd.
