Vitamin supplements in chick water?

Is this necessary or needed? I was planning on just unfiltered applecider vinegar

I have the same question as I just got 6 - 3 day olds from Ideal and they are saying to put them on a water soluable vitamin for 3 days.Is it really neccesary iand if so can you use an infant vitamin in the water and if so how much vitamin to water? I have never raised chicks this young and I need advice. Thanks Trudy
