Vitamins on broody hens

Hi so it is the time of the week again for me to inject the chickens with vitamins. I was wondering if it is ok to inject my broody hen without disturbing how she acts while being broody. Like will she stop sitting on the eggs for a day or two? Last time, I injected her while on the laying egg cycle and it messed up her cycle for a day.

Gee, in all my reading I've never heard of this. Why are you injecting your chickens with vitamins in the first place?

My chickens dont drink the water that is mixed with vitamin powder. When I went to my vet he gave me vitamins that can be injected into them right in the thighs.

If chickens are given good quality chicken feed and have access to fresh, clean water and fresh greens from time to time, I don't think they really need added vitamins. Are you sure your vet is experienced with poultry?

What vitamins are you giving them?
