Vitamins

The proper game bird feed for the age of the quail will have the exact ratio of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fats and energy needed by the quail.
If there is a need to supplement, Nutri-Drench is an option.

You might have been looking at something meant to provide electrolytes. Salt is an electrolyte.
By the way, if you ever find yourself thirsty, no matter how much water you drink, you're probably low on salt. Without salt, you can't properly absorb water, and can be dehydrated even if you drink almost constantly. All you do with all the extra water is flush out more salt and make it worse. The fix is just to eat more salt, or take salt tablets like athletes take.

Salt then sodium. Number one & two of ingredients. I wish I had read the label first. On the vitamins.
The electrolytes have salt but nothing like the vitamin %

If the main ingredients were vitamins, that'd massively overdose them on vitamins. For them to not include a lot of salt, they'd either have to make tiny packets, which people probably wouldn't buy, or they'd have to make one packet require a lot more water to dilute it. Note that it doesn't say to give the birds both the vitamin water and clean water, like it does on the other. Plus, that looks like it's intended to be used long-term, not as a quick pick-me-up for ill birds. And, again, the electrolytes are really important.
