Vitamins?

I've seen alot of people talking about putting vitamins in chicks water. Should everyone do that or is it just for sick chicks?

Amanda if you are feeding good quality ration the vitamins are already in the mix. Free-range chickens get many vitamins from what they eat in the warmer months.If you are just feeding table scraps and free-ranging in the winter vitamins are likely in order.

I just realised you said chicks and not chickens! We just added cider vinegar to the chicks water every dy and that seemed to do the trick.
