I won't comment on the sulmet. I fed medicated starter and never had a problem with coccidiosis, so I wouldn't know about using the sulmet.
Vitamins and minerals can't do any harm, but the chicks will do just as well on a quality feed.
I worm my flock once a year. Others never worm. I think three times a year would be a little excessive.
