Well, after a secure 10 years, our coop finally has pests. :/ I think they've tunneled all underneath our coop floor (Wood). It's really snowy, and I really don't want to rip it up...
Has anyone dealt with voles before? Any tips? Trap plans?

Are you positive it's voles and not mice or rats? IMO, voles are dumber than dirt. I caught 8 voles in a single mouse trap, at the same location, and never once needed to change out the bait. I used a snap mouse trap baited with a dollop of peanut butter and a single chocolate chip. the trap was set at the entrance to their tunnel. Set trap, dump body out of trap, rinse and repeat.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah, I'm sure. I saw one in the coop the other day.

A couple of winters ago I had voles tunnel into the guinea coop. Since the ground was frozen I put off dealing with them until spring. By the time I decided to take care of the voles, there were none left in the coop. The guineas had caught and eaten all of them.

I have a large vole problem here and the thing that works best for me is to push the poison bait block blocks into their tunnels.
