Hello. Would anyone please be so incredibly kind as to please do me a huge favor and send an email, with your name (you may use an alias!) and the subject ''VOTING HEIDI'S CHICKENS'' to '' [email protected] ''
You will be helping me win a grant to finally be able to get my chickens, that I have wanted all my life! Till recently it was illegal here, but our petition to the city worked and we changed those laws last month and now allowed up to 4 chickens here! Never been too big on dogs and cats, but chickens/birds have always delighted me.

omgosh, thank you so much! I am so thrilled to be here, I'm so excited to finally be allowed to have chickens! Am researching Everything chicken right now, i need to learn everything about them and build their coops and runs and everything before I get them in the Spring, and I think this forum will be excellent help for me! Thanks again so much for your help!! This grant opportunity has came along at an amazing time because we won the right to have chickens, and got about $1000 dollars behind from being evacuated for hurricane Irma at the same time last month. So my first thought when I found out I could finally have them was how? It's giving me hope and one way or another I will get them. I'm using downed wood from the hurricane to build my coops and fence posts! Thanks again so so much! Sorry so chatty I'm too excited lol Have a wonderful day and hope to see you around here on this forum again in the future! I can let you know if I win the grant if you like! :)

I absolutely will! If I win or lose I will post here everywhere to thank everyone here for your help and let you know how it's going with my birds! And i plan to be posting a lot here asking questions and advice, and posting photos on my progress building their housing and stuff! So thrilled to be able to be part of this group, really, I've wanted chickens for decades <3 I just find them absolutely charming..and a utilitarian pet! Perfect! It's like my garden. I only grow plants I can use, beautiful and useful, now I will have a pet that makes eggs omgosh :p Thanks again, I'm book marking this post so I will be able to find it to keep in contact with you all and let you know how it's going <3
