My legbars are all friendly. One was flighty but still friendly, the others are calm and friendly. They are beautiful birds laying nice blue eggs. I would suggest you to get one. I always want Sussex and BA, but never had a chance. My other favorite is Bielefelder, extremely calm and beautiful. My Bielefelder hen even broke fights between other hens by standing between them. She is such a sweet heart.

Nothing to be sorry about! I'm sorry if I came across as angry or condescending or anything in my last post, that wasn't my intention at all. I'd love to be able to order extra chicks, but because the odds are in the favor of them surviving, my parents would never go for it.
Oh, yeah. I just realized that My Pet Chicken is in your area. They have some neat Heritage Barred Rocks.

Are they like EE's that have a Silkie's texture?
Yep! All white silkies that lay blue eggs and are larger than regular silkies. But they're $40 for a sexed female, instead of the $30ish it costs me for a sexed female silkie and a sexed female easter egger.

Which breeds are the least likely to be aggressive against other chickens?

Also thanks for the poll. Its made a lot of creative thinking.

I know that Easter Eggers are very docile, but they're not on the poll because I will definitely be getting one.

Plan 1:
This plan is where we buy the rental chickens off the rental people and keep them, then get more chicks in spring 2021. The chicks that I would get would be:
-1 Silver Laced Cochin
-1 Easter Egger
-1 Black Copper Marans
-1 Barred rock
That would be the last order of just adding chicks in this plan, but if there were different circumstances, including but not limited to:
-getting an accidental cockerel
-hens or chicks dying
-not buying the whole flock off the rental people
My breed runner up to possibly fill in gaps would be:
Speckled Sussex
Black Australorp
Cream Legbar
Olive egger
I also might replace hens with the same breed.
