To make it even more interesting, there could be monthly egg face THEMES, sort of like a certain category that folks would have to try to use to come up with a neat idea. That might help make the judging a bit easier, instead of judging one entry against others that might be of a completely different genre. We could even expand the contest to be more open to other forms of egg "art", instead of sticking to the "faces" motif.
And I also like the idea of passing the "mantle of leadership" from winner to winner to keep the whole thing moving, as was suggested.
