I wouldnt keep them with other species personally...just for disease prevention. These are the most delicate Guinea Fowl, and get sick very easily. They also lose their toes to frost bite, they need heat of at least 50 degrees through the winter. I've kept Green Peafowl in the teens with no heat and had no problems...but they were kept in a shelter. Small greenhouses are excellent for keeping exotic birds in through the winter, and practically stays warm enough on its on during the day if in direct sun. I use Ivermectin to worm all of my birds. 2 cc to a gallon of water, it kills any parasite. As a rule of thumb, the bigger the pens, the better for breeding exotic Guineas. I've always used 50ft x 50ft pens, I've tried 10x20, but didnt have as much success as i've had with the larger pens. Put lots of brush in there for them to hide in for nests, and build the pen in a well drained area where no water stands, theyre very prone to bacterial infections from too much wet ground. If this can't be provided, they filling the pen with 4'' or more of dry course sand or gravel works well. Cheapest ones i've seen for sale have been $850/pr, prices keep going up on them because people just cant breed them or let them get sick and die out. Importing would be very expensive, besides the permit costs, and shipping, the quarantine fee now is $800 plus per bird, unless you know something I dont lol. I hope this helps answer some of your questions, if you have anymore just ask.
