Vet said good news in all but one of her test results are good. Butter has only had one functioning kidney for awhile and it's doing great. The one test that isn't coming up good is her white blood count. It's suppose to be between 8 & 10,000, Butter's is 36,000!! They have her on fluids, she's peed which is good, and they have given her some can food waiting to see if she will eat. She'll be spending the night as they try to figure out where the infection is. She's in good hands. I just LOVE my vets.

So sorry Coyote. They become family hen you've had your pet that long. My 15 year old German Shepherd is still going strong even with her eyesight about gone. She still likes to play ball.

I just received my quilt blocks in the mail today!!!! They are fantastic!


On the down side, a kitten rode down to the post office with us (somewhere in the under body of the truck) and didn't make it back home. OF COURSE she was a favorite of the entire family.

OOOh no! Sorry about your kitten.

We are battling a mysterious infection with my 18year old Butterscotch kitty. She spent 3 days at the Vet last week and is still on antibiotics at home. I have managed to get her to eat some, but I'm afraid the time to say goodbye may be near. I've had Butter 1 month less than I've had my husband. We lost her sister/littermate last year to Sarcoma. There was actually a block on my Relay for Life quilt for Bashful.


Glad you liked the Geckos! Toes were a B but they all came our really nice!!!

So sorry to hear about the old pets............I'm dealing with that myself with Penelope, my 16 yr old Pomeranian..............I think she's fading fast. If she's not sleeping all day, she stands there and shakes........I try to get her attention to go out to pee, I stand there waiting for her to come along (minutes later) she goes out and just stares......

She'll pee a little then go in and I find a puddle on the floor...........
