Wafer thermostat or something better

I have seen on a couple of web pages that the 74.00 pre-set thermostat is not recommened for any other use than a sportsman bator. Sounds funny to me. Thanks for all the advice, I would love to get some type of electronic thermostat, just hate to get one and it would not work with the 250watt element. I am not the smartest cookie when it comes to electricity. Thanks for all

Welcome to BYC....if you have the cash look at the Helix DBS1000, very accurate or a PID Temperature Controller www.auberins.com
Johnson 419 $35.95, you will ahve to add a T type thermo coupler.
Their as been plenty of threads regarding this subject, the puzzle I haven't come up with yet is an automatic turner motor mechanism, again....

It looks to me like you put the sensor into the bator and then plug the bator into the unit ..
am I on the right track?? I think it would work jus great.. If I ever get around to building another bator, this is what I would use.. I saved the site in my favorites..
