Hooray! I can now report that this is the second night that my moody broody has stayed on the nest instead of going up to roost! Since this is the first broody this flock has ever seen, it has been great fun to watch the antics as everyone figures out what is going on (including me!). Several of the other hens have tried to push her from the nest to lay an egg. I set up some alternate, temp nesting boxes so they have other places to lay. The coop set-up isn't ideal, but I'm hoping for at least a small hatch. I plan to mark them soon, and make sure they are turned starting in about a week (daily if I recall)?
