Waiting for my chicks in Stroudsburg, PA

Hello and welcome to BYC! I too had dreams of the country many years ago when I first started out on my own. I started by raising quail in the city (since roosters were not accepted I couldn't raise chickens just yet) then finally was able to move out to the country in my own hobby farm! Though I planned on raising goats and sheep, I found myself pleased with my birds and garden. Good luck to you in your new adventures! PS Love Meyer Hatchery... you made a good choice!

Hi Myfinefeatheredfriends,

I found MeyerHatchery in a "Grit Country Skills Series" I got through my subscription to Mother Earth. After watching their video on their home page, I knew that was the place I was going to order my chicks.
