I had a Pekin go broody on about 20 eggs about a month ago, I left the other ducks in the same area as her, and when she got up to eat and drink I caught one of my other females wrecking her nest, she had the eggs scattered everywhere. I decided not to continue with those eggs worried they would be scrambled, I collected eggs from my females for the next few days and when I had 15 I rebuilt her nest and put the eggs in, caught her and placed her on the nest, and sectioned the yard off from the others, she layed right down and has been on them for 9 days now. I was surprised it actually worked, but am very happy it did, we will see if she is successful in 19 or so days!!!
