I hope everything works out with your bantam hen. The person that posted that hasn't been here since 2021.

It has worked out! She saw the vet and he said that she released a yolk early because the implant was starting to work. Because it released early the yolk was small so the egg was small and apparently if the egg is too small it can fail to trigger the calcification process which is at least partially pressure triggered.

She’s doing very well. No more eggs since then.
