Waiting is SOOO hard

I got mine a week ago yesterday and I've already decided what kind of chicks I want next. Oh, this is bad.... but even my husband is getting into it. I caught him last night in my chair next to the brooder watching them flap about.

When I got my email that my chicks had shipped, I called the PO to let them know and then took them some cookies and cake so that they would think of me kindly when my babies got there. Sure enough, the next morning when the babies got there I actually got 3 calls from the workers, right in a row! I don't know if the treats made any difference, but it did make ME feel better about the whole shipping ordeal and gave me something to do instead of feeling helpless...waiting....not sleeping...waiting......

I hate waiting too!! My order was supposed to be shipped tomorrow but they won't be shipped until next week

Oh, no! Does that mean no chicks at all or just a longer wait?!? I'm not sure that you should settle for no chicks at all. (You must have chicks! I ordered from MPC because of their small order option... if you need a backup plan!)

It means just a MUCH longer wait, hopefully within the next few months! I'm thinking about MPC. but I'm not sure how well 3 would survive the journey! They might get cold and die because we live far away from a major city. Hopefully we'll get them soon!

Ideal isn't a bad option. They have a $25 minimum not a chick minimum. It is about 10 chicks though depending on the prices. I don't know where you live or how many chicks you want but it may be a good option. MPC's prices are just too high for me that is why I don't order from them.
