Oh no! I am sorry! I thought for sure everything was going to turn out OK! I don't think we will know what happened. I usually leave mine in the incubator an hour or more to dry off but sometimes they are goopy and sticky and that just dries to a hard mess. I had one stick to the incubator floor before! If they look like that for several hours, then I try to wash them off with some warm water and a washcloth, then dry and put back in the incubator so they don't get so chilled.So sad, unfortunately ny chic died during the nite! It was chirping for 2 days and i heard it pecking at the shell. I think it was just to tired. Should i have keft itbin the incubator longer? I put it under a heat lamp in the same area where my other chics are but in a separate container si the other chics wouldn’t oeck at it!
