awe their beautiful. Mine arent quite that feathered yet. But the tips of the wings are changing and I can see the differences well! and trust me I dont mind the feet... kinda why I always have my toes painted pretty LOL. I go bare foot way more than any farm gal should lol.

Just FYI: it takes a while for the little ones to realize toe nail polish is not food.

It isn't painful (mostly) but having bare toes pecked can become annoying!

Up and ready for a new day! Wishing it wasn't raining but I'll manage to get all my errands done today in between rain drops. My oldest birthday is monday so we are having a family party sunday. just kinda hope the rain stays away from the afternoon for us! Hows the weather treating y'all??

Morning everyone!!

wow what a weekend! I had so many things going on I never got a good chance to get online. I won't lie I kinda like it that way, but sure felt like I never got a chance to catch-up with anyone. So I'll catch y'all up now!

We finished getting my oldest daughters room done. She absolutely loves it!! Super pink and girly just like she likes it. I got the Barred Rocks all moved and happy in the hen house. The older hens seems to not mind them at all so I'm gonna extend the chicks freedom some into the run, but let them decide if they want to go down in the run or stay inside. Had a fabulous turnout for sierra's birthday party yesterday! wow didn't think that many people could fit in my house! (Note to self-- invest in more chairs) I'm getting exhausted just telling you all about it! Oh and lets not forget to talk about the weather! I could have not asked God for a better more perfect day yesterday!! 75*, sunny and breezy! yeah I'd say it was a great weekend.
