Clyde smiled. "Would you maybe think about being my mate?" he asked quickly, almost blurting the words out in a jumble.

Sorren twittered again, shaking droplets of water off of his small feathers.

Shadow was surprised at this newcomer. "more playmates?" he cackled, and directed Blaze at them.

After Blaze burned and disintegrated the weeds she lunged at Aquila.

Stagleap stood and wandered out, looking for Shakira. He walked a ways, then saw the bear. He crouched down, vanishing. "Shakira, turn into a moth" he whispered.

Pine padded into the den.

Shakira's lip curled into a sly smile. She didn't move, but instead, played out the plan in her mind several times.
