Koa spun around. "I knew it! I knew it! I was out walking and thinking about why the sun shines, and the scent dawned on me. I lost it by the river though," Koa said.

"No, no," panted Moondrop. "I just smelled it. It was very strong, very fresh. And it wasn't our old pack either," she added.

"What? Then, who?" she asked, confused.

 

[Bluebee]

"No idea," said Moondrop.

"It makes your fur tingle though," said Koa. She shivered.

 

[Bluebee]

"Do you think it's the pack that wants you?" Moondrop asked.

"I dunno. What do you think?"

Moondrop shrugged.

Koa said, "Can I lead you to it? Please please please please please?"

Moon glanced over at the pile of fresh kill. It looked terribly low. "Hey! Anybody want to go hunting?" she asked.
