Shakira turned into a bear, and knocked down the door. Then she turned back into a dog and began to howl and bark and yip again. The man walked out of the house again. This time, Moondrop set to work trying to find Genba and Stagleap. She found them, and said, "How do I get you out of these things?"

Stagleap sat in his cage. "Mine won't break. I tried everything" he whimpered.

Shakira yelped around the man. Then she bit him. She stumbled and fell, shouting in pain. Shakira quickly ran into the human den and swiped a giant paw at the cage lock. It broke with a Clink! Then she turned and broke the other lock. She looked at them all, and said, "I want you to get out as fast as you can. When I will heal the human, run towards the woods. Don't stop no matter what." Moondrop nodded. "Thank you," Moondrop said.

Shakira healed the man, and ran fast into the forest.

Moondrop was going to ask Shakira to come with her and join the pack, but after she had run into the forest, she could not find Shakira anywhere.
