The gunshot woke him and he leapt in front of Shakira, the bullet tearing through his hip. He fell and leapt.

Shakira ran at the man, bit into his leg, and ran back to Stagleap. She healed his hip quickly. "Run," she said to Stagleap. "I'll be ok, don't worry."
