Skylar blinked, looking up at Guard.
"you okay?" he asked Sky, still concerned. the images of the flipping truck had not yet left his mind.

She nodded. "Just tired," Sky whispered in her pup voice.
"so are you gonna tell me why you shrunk?" he asked, still confused.

Sky hesitated, but decided to tell him. "Well, see, every so often, usually when I get hurt, I turn into a pup at sunset, but I turn back to normal in the morning. My injury heals, and if anything sleeps next to me that has an injury, it will usually heal too," she explained quietly.
"That makes sense, i guess" Guard said, taking it all in.

She smiled, a child-like, bright smile.
The girl blinked and sat bolt upright, confused and frightened.

Sky stepped up to her, poking her wet nose towards her and sniffing.
Guard stayed back. his large and battled appearance might frighten her.

the girl stared in wonder at the wolves. "what..?" she was amazed.

Ice isn't a real character I made or anything. I just thought it would be cool to have Fire and Ice be mates until now. Fire has lost his first mate now his looks for a new one. Fire's eyes widen, he hadn't heard that kind of love since, Ice was around. Ice said the same things, she was honest, brave strong willed. then Death came and sent Ice and him to the Shadow lands.
