Pitch emerged from the water, muddy and dripping. He shook vigorously, slinging the mess all over his dam and anyone else nearby.

"Ugh," Shade moaned as her dripping wet foal poked his wet head under her and started to nurse.

Fighter looked at Sirocco. She stood in front of her foal, Danger. She looked at the lead mare, Sunlight.

Dark Night looked at his mare and foal. He looked at the sky. He snorted. " The heat is getting to every one." He said.

Apatche looked at the sky. "It may rain tonight." he said as if Flower hadn't spoken. "Then he looked at her. "I found a large cave. We should head that direction,before the storm breaks."


Sunlight looked at Lightning Strike. "I don't know handsome." she said then sniffed again. "I don't know what it is,but I'm scared of it." She walked over to Lightning and snuggled. She looked up at him.

Slick nickered to Gently. "I love you." he said.

Sirocco saw Fighter looking at her. Shaking her head, she moved around behind her twin. Shards looked at her sister then at Fighter.
 
Dark Star and Black Angel played in the water for a little bit then got out. Star started grooming her foal.

Nightmare slowly walked,his large,muscular body throwing a large shadow over the hill he was walking towards. He whinnied long and loud,then reared,hoping to scare or challenge a stud for his mares.
