Walkswithdog - My sizzle roo just frustrates me! Added current pics

Hey Jaynie

Glad you're getting crest improvement from the silkie addition.

I've got five silkies growing now for the project, and am hatching several of my first, fifth gen Sizzles and so far the first two are blue and vaulted - a good start. I have 12 more of those eggs in the bator.

As mentioned I'm grateful my black/red roo is actually birchen, makes my project a lot simpler. Go bbs birchen Sizzles (really large grin).

My BBS Sizzles are also going well and I hope the next gen of silkies improves crests and combs, I got good feather and foot feather in the fourth generation.

Oddly the bird with spectacular foot feathering is the smooth, black birchen roo with the horrid comb. But he's got NO crest. So that line is a work in progress big time for type and color.

I decided to hatch sizzles over winter to get ahead.

PBJ, hugs I hope you've better luck next go round, when I've spares from this project, we'll talk, CJexotics silkies are nice and this fifth gen from mine are looking pretty good.
