Wall-mounted feeders?

They're not hard at all. They're just each mounted by two screws, and they have slots in the back that slide over the screws.

To remove them, just lift them off the screws, hose out, leave them to dry, and slide them back on and refill.

Awesome. That is definitely the way I will go. Love he metal for sanitation and easy cleaning.

Thanks so much for replying.

Do you have an Atwoods or other feed supply store around you? I know I saw these at Atwoods just the other day..... Hmmmm.... now I may have to go back and pick one up.....

We made feeders out of plastic pvc pipe with end caps bolted onto a 2x4. We did that to keep the chickens from scratching the feed onto the ground. They work great.

I've been looking for these feeders in our area and the closest thing I come to is rabbit feeders.
The ones at TSC are made with screen bottoms so the dust and small stuff falls through But I've been looking on line (Under rabbit feeders)
and they have them in 5 in widths and 7 inch.
different websites different styles.
What size are the ones you pictured? they look bigger than 7 in but I really like those!!

I constructed a PVC wall mounted feeder similar to one in Countryside mag but I modified it to suit my coop. Instead of an "L" shape jutting from the wall, I made a long tray between two upright tubes for topfilling, continuous feeding. Since it is mounted almost flush against the wall, the hens can't roost on and poop in the tray and the PVC is too slick for this anyway. The feeder portion is approx 2 feet long and the side tubes are the same. I mount is high enough for hens and biddies but not low enough for scratching about in the feed. Works well, easy to detach from the wall for cleaning and such. Am currently designing a continuous waterer from the same material. Hope to rap this in heat tape for winter use. Sorry, can't post pics as I have dial-up and it would take me all day!

No, never heard of Atwoods. We have TSC and some mom & pop shops, but they just carry the hanging feeders/waterers. They have the rabbit feeders but I didn't want the screens on the bottom.
