The scratch from Walmart looks to me to be just like any other scratch. You're going to get bad bags every now and then anywhere you buy from, it just happens.

The feed at Walmart is produced by Manna Pro, if you go to their website, they often have some pretty good coupons for it.

I didn't even know Walmart carried scratch.. Is it in the wild bird section?

Our Walmart carries it in the pet food section, they also have horse and hog feed. I only buy it in a pinch. I haven't had any problems.

Ours carries the wiild bird seed. That is what I feed to my chickens, they love it. They prefer that over scratch.
