So my saucy black laced red Wyandotte, Wanda Beth, is one year old today and has never laid an egg. The rest of her flock has been laying since July (the last to start was in early November) and some of the babies who hatched in late September are already laying. But not Wanda Beth. Nope! She is bigger than the rest, has had big red comb and wattles since August. A whole lot of attitude but no eggs.
Here she is, the stubbornest chicken ever to not lay an egg. She's never crowed but maybe she's a rooster just trying to stay out of the pot?
