wandering hens

when i let them out of the coop all 4 of my pullets are wondering off in to the woods to scratch. is ther any way to stop them i dont want them wondering in to my neighbors yard

I carry a stick with me and use it as an arm extension. I sorta herd them like sheep. They wander around the yard, but when I see them going into a neighbor's yard, I walk toward them with the stick and herd them back.

They more or less have learned their boundries now, so I don't have to herd them much, but we only let them free range when we're out with them.
