Wanna see my Marans chicks?

Sure ya do!!

16 out of 30 eggs hatched. I have several Weatons, 2 white (They might be blue Wheatons) 2 blues and several black coppers. Not too bad I supose. I checked some of the eggs and they had no development in them and a few had chicks that did not peep and just died in the shells. I did not check all of them though as I want to keep some because they are so pretty. I will just have to put them in a safe place so they don't break!

So here some of them are!! I also have one silkie chick that hatched out a week ago. It is smaller then the Marans that just hatched! Marans have some big babies!!

Now I have 6 days till my Wellies hatch.

Are you keeping the eggs that didn't hatch??? They will rot and STINK!!
