New. No birds yet. Thinking about chickens and/or coturnix quail.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Like birds. Would like the eggs but also pest reduction, waste processing, and fertilizer.

wildlife and food gardening
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Just trying to build a system that is part rewilding & part food production. This place looks like cottage garden meets wild meets victory garden.

Just found it via duckduckgo. Haven been considering chickens for a few years but haven't been ready yet.
