Want links to graphic & disturbing info and pics of released poultry

My parents and grandparents are trying to make me rrelease two of my drakes in a pond. But I wont do it, and they get really mad at me - so i know how it is. I was a vegetarian for two years - realy big into animal rigts as well.

Thats terrible...I love my ducks so much...I have 10 right now and if there was any way possible I would take ever unwanted duck out there...I have seen so many adds on Craigslist people trying to get rid of the easter ducks and chicks and even rabbits..Its terrible,so your kid is screaming for a baby duck or chick PUT your foot down and say NO..If they still scream about it now its HELL NO...As adults you should know that cute little duck and chick get BIG and FAST...
Parent need to learn to parents and teach kids right from wrong..An animal is NOT a toy...
It deserves to be cared, protected, and loved..all the days of its life....

Thanks so much for the links and advice offered. I've managed to stall them long enough for me to plan a trip there and grab the duck. This is by no means a young duck, so this duck has had a good run and I hope to offend no one when I say that, in lieu of finding a good home for it, I feel by giving it a quick end I am doing it a better service than exposing it to the stress and confusion of a shelter.
Hopefully my gathering of information and pictures will, at the least, prevent this from happening again, and prevent them from advising others to "release" their waterfowl.
