Want more, want more...isthis normal?

If you want more, then do it quickly. You can raise them together if there is only a week or so age difference. If you wait too long you will have to keep them separate. If you have a good feed store near you with chicks you can often find birds about the same age as your current ones.

I second that! It will happen before you know it, and there is no way to stop it. lol

Yep, I have already reached this point in just a year! It's a horrible, horrible addiction

Try 5 weeks and still no run or coop, wish the darn rain would stop. Now I'm collecting crates and cages to house the birds inside for a while, lol.

I've got 5 week olds with 1 week olds and newly hatched. The older ones take care of the little ones. They use to roost, then I added the little ones, now the curl up with the little ones. Thinking of dividing them into smaller groups though.

Hehehe, I just buy them then tell my boyfriend. He doesn't care as long as I care for them. He'll help me build as many or as big of a coop and run as I want. I think I'm up to 11 different breeds.

This new addiction is strong. I sit up nights surfing the net looking at hatchery sites. I hve 6 coming in 4 weeks or so and I really am trying to hold out and not add to the order. I really am about to take the hedge clipper to the cable connection outside the house. The problem is none of you tell me to stop, you are all enablers! Curse BYC! Argh.
