Cartavious for a boy, or San Quetia for a girl. Promise that I saw these names on Judge Joe Brown, and laughed at them when my DIL was pregnant. But, she named the little girl Jocelyn Renee. My son said if it was a boy, he would have named him Richard Edward, and called him Dick Ed.

Hmmm, there is a Chevy Chase movie called Fletch, where his character's name is Irwin Fletcher.

It's from 1985... probably before you were born.


I have a book from my childhood called "Something Queer is Going On" and the main character's dog, a Basset Hound, is named Fletcher. If I were getting a male puppy I would definitely consider it as a name.

I actually have a friend named Fletcher and I believe I have a children's book called "How Fletcher was hatched."

Yeah, the son is a Staff Sgt. in the Army. He has served 4 tours in Iraq, and is a no-nonsense kind of guy. At least he thinks he is. The boy was named after his Daddy in law, and himself: Richard Andrew, and his name is Drew. The little girl is Jocelyn Renee, because the wife says it is, and that is all that matters. He can combat the enemy, but the wife is just evil. According to him. Mom in law loves her!
