Hi hi!!
I should have done this sooner as I've been using this website for a while to get answers about chickens.
My family has had chickens since before I was born. First was my grandpa, then my dad had some, now they're joined and we have anywhere between 30 and I think at most we had almost 60 or 70!
I have no idea what breed they are. My dad has gotten different breeds before and they've mixed at this point.
I love when we have chicks and I get to become their vet/nanny because I think they're cute and want them to let me pet them when they're grown...they never do though.
Funnily enough, if I can manage to stay inside, I will. I refer to myself as the least outdoorsy, outdoorsy person. I love my animals, a cat, dog, and the chickens, but I also love my room and playing video games. During this nice spring and summer weather, I do end up doing a lot of outdoor activities like walking my dog, taking him to the dog park, or most recently, hanging out with one of my chicks.
I already mentioned my other pets, but I live with my parents still and we're neighbors with my grandparents, so it's pretty nice. We share a big yard and take care of the animals and gardens together(mostly my dad, he's a real man's man).
I've known about this website for quite a while as I've said above, I would see it whenever looking up anything about our chickens.
