want to purchase pullets

Am hoping to find multiple breeds from which to choose in the area surrounding Houston. Can anyone suggest where I can go? My coop should be ready in the next few weeks.

Are you wanting to purchased sexed day old pullet chicks, coop ready (6+ weeks) started pullet chicks or point-of-lay + pullets? Are there particular breeds you do/don't want?

Want 3 or 4 hens close to age for laying and I have several breeds in mind, one of each kind. Am thinking of a black and white one, a multi colored one with a long tail, maybe a red--pretty ones! Don't want to get my heart set on a particular breed and then not be able to find it. Any ideas near Houston where I would have the best choices?
