I'm so annoyed that Eggbid blocks free e-mail address domains when registering. I can understand why they do it, but I think it excludes an awful lot of people, including myself. I'm a college student who doesn't have much of a disposable income (and what little I do have goes to my birds), so there's no way I'm going to pay for an e-mail address just to be able to bid on chickens and eggs... Is there any way around this? I would really like to be able to register in case something I really want comes up, but as it is I only have e-mail accounts on Yahoo and Gmail. Help or advice, anyone?

When I ran into this problem, I emailed the seller directly... they know it is a problem.... and arranged to buy some eggs that way. It worked out just fine.. good luck!

You have to use an email account from a paid source, such as the one given to you by your internet provider (such as AOL, etc.).

IMO: Eggbid is just not worth the hassle. Much better environment here.

Gmail does not work. I would like to do eggbid too. Oh well. Pips and peeps if you ever plan on selling your white ameracauna eggs. Let me know, yours are gorgeous and would love to buy eggs or chicks when you have some in the spring.

Yeah, I tried Gmail and it didn't work out. Unfortunately, my family doesn't use our e-mail from our internet provider--I think my mom set it up quite a while ago and then forgot the password, or something like that.

I would of course rather buy birds and eggs from here because everyone is so nice and helpful and the birds I bought from a user here arrived in perfect condition, but I would love to have an account in case something I really want comes up there. Oh well. Maybe someone on here will have a solution for us free e-mail users.

PM me, I can set you up an email address on one of the domains I host. That might work.

AOL works, try that. I recently had to change mine and that was one of the few free ones that worked.

you could try operamail.com too, that one often works
