I was looking at these also
there is a blue sable and a sable in this litter

Looks to be the same breeder/owner and if so grab the blue sable and the smoked pearl lol that way you will have lilac smoked pearl and sables.

Thats actually the same litter! That greyish colored one is sold she just has that REW and that dark colored one left. So I should go with the smoked pearl colored buck? I'm going there sunday afternoon! Hope they will produce beautiful babies!

The bunny I am purchasing is actually behind the mother in that pic.

They will definately get the smoked pearl, is she also the one witht he orange doe? if so grab her also.
they will defiantely make some very pretty babays,
The rew will actually be benificial also, I will have to ask my friend Lily who breeds them more consistantly that I do, she uses the rew to enhance something in the sables I just cant remember what.
I do know the rew has to carry sable because the mother is sable and so is 2 of the babies.

Yes she also has the orange doe and I will get her. I'd get the REW as well but I don't think I'd want another buck right now(especially as I now need to find a flemish buck). Thanks for all your help! I'm new to this but find the lionheads particularly fascinating! I'm sure I 'll have lots more questions for you when it comes to breeding time.

Anytime you need help just ask, if I dont know the answer I will get the answer from friends of mine who breed them.
I just started with lionheads, never particularly like them,
one thing to keep in mind keep the lions small, dont buy anthing over 3 lbs unless its a brood doe and is proven to have small kits.

I suppose then, when purchasing kits look at the mothers size? I prefer my flemish but the color is perhaps a bit boring.

flemish canbe boring color wise unless you want to aggravate the heck out of yourself, lol get teh steels those will drive you completely bonkers. it is the hardest color in the lines to get perfectly correct.
fawns are rather fun too another color that can be a pain in the butt to perfect. smutt yuck nothing worse than black guard hairs over beautiful fawn.

I think the max correct weight is not more than 3.75lbs on lions...

love the pearls, our BK Himmie Netherland throws Siamese Sables and Siamese Smoked Pearls when mated to a Seal.
and our Smoked Pearl Marten (which looks lilac) only had one baby, but was a beautiful Siamese Smoked Pearl as well, mated w/our Seal.
All babies tho, changed colors after their moult. We thought we had self blues or lilacs and lighter Seals, but they all ended up with color highlighted around their ears, nose, feet...really nice...

good luck with your bunnies...
