This is what DH built for me..it is 8LX4WX4H, it has a plastic fence top for warm days, for colder or rainy days we use a piece of plywood raised up off it and a tarp to keep the rain out.. On the inside I have 2 heat lights one on the far side and one in the big dog box. THey really like the dog box and love to roost on top of it..They seem to love it, and have only to add a long bar for roosting...

yep they had to go outside, I don't have a guest room so they where in a corner in the livingroom and the little yellows stated trying to escape and the 10mnth old twins kept trying to get into the corner and they really where starting to smell.

They love having more room and I love not having a barn smelling livingroom. ANd DH did an awesome job and it was really easy, 4 pieces of plywood 1 floor, 2 long sides, 1 cut in half for width, then chicken wire or some type of mesh to cover the top. It was suppose to be on my porch but ended up being to big, so we had to make a top for it because of the rain. So that is how we ended up using some 2X4 under a piece of plywood then draping a tarp over it.

I added the dog box because the first couple nights it was rather cold at night and I figured it would hold the heat in for them and it worked great..
